The Role
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Investment Operations Associate to join our growing team. This is an entry-level, growth-oriented position designed for someone who wants to build a strong foundation in investment operations while developing toward a future role as a financial advisor.
The Investment Operations Associate serves as the firm’s primary daily trading resource, owning the execution, accuracy, and operational integrity of client portfolio transactions. The focus of the role is dedicated to daily trading and portfolio implementation, with the remaining time spent on learning all aspects of the business, including financial planning, portfolio construction, tax strategy, and client service.
This role supports all advisors and wealth management associates and plays a critical part in delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience. Accuracy, accountability, and a willingness to learn are essential. Growth opportunities will align with the firm’s needs, individual strengths, and demonstrated readiness for expanded responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Operations & Trading
- Serve as the firm’s primary daily trader, responsible for trade preparation, execution, reconciliation, and post-trade verification.
- Implement portfolio rebalancing, cash management, and investment recommendations in coordination with advisors and wealth management associates.
- Maintain accurate trading records, documentation, and audit trails.
- Identify, investigate, and escalate trade-related discrepancies or operational risks.
- Support operational requirements for alternative investments, including subscription documents, capital calls, funding, and recordkeeping.
- Track private investment activity and ensure accurate coordination with custodians and internal teams.
Advisor & Team Support
- Provide day-to-day investment operations support to advisors and wealth management associates, allowing them to focus on client relationships and planning.
- Assist with the preparation of financial plans, portfolio reviews, tax projections, and client-facing materials.
- Support client service requests related to investments and portfolio activity.
- Learn advisor workflows, meeting preparation, and planning processes over time.
- Work with the team to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in trading and investment processes.
- Use existing systems effectively and demonstrate a willingness to self-learn new tools and workflows.
- Contribute ideas that enhance the firm’s investment operations and overall client experience.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Education or experience in finance, economics, business, math, or a related field preferred.
- Exposure to wealth management or financial services is helpful but not required.
- Leadership experience through work, athletics, clubs, volunteer service, or other activities is a plus.
Licenses
- SIE, Series 65 preferred or willingness to obtain upon hiring.
